Long Time Blues

It has been a long time since I have written anything. I find that the loose, relaxed way I look at things has left my ex-wife feeling hurt, alone and uncared for. Tonight we had a conversation where she demonstrated her resolve by taking off her wedding ring and saying "I'm through." I am hurt, angry, discusted, and sad. We have almost 25 years of history together. We were best friends, I thought. I have spent the last year and a half morning the reality that I thought is, but never was. I feel used.

Today the notice

Today, I finally recieved notice that I will get the disability from the church! Some time soon, I will be recieving a check from the board of pensions. This is the first time I have seen it in writing. It does conform to what I've been expecting, but man have I been through it!
